Goodbye Summer

Dear Son,

Your third summer has passed us by. At barely two years old when it began, I'm not sure how much of it you will remember, so I thought it important to share a few reminders here - for when you look back later.

You watched a spectacular fireworks display on July 4th.
Your Grandma and B-Ma went with us, and you graciously gave them equal lap time.

One Saturday you managed to get your little hands on and open a bottle of medicine. I couldn't be sure that you hadn't ingested any, so we spent and afternoon in the ER.

We made a few trips to Monkey Joes

[oh how you love to say cheese!]

You went to the beach with Grandma and Grandpa, aunt Lana and Uncle Chris, and four of your cousins. Unfortunately - no one took any pictures while AT the beach. [horror of horrors!] Above are a few shots I took just before you left.

You did lots of swimming

You helped shuck [and eat!] fresh corn

You even found time to relax....

It is so wonderful to be witness to all this joy.

I love you beautiful boy.

My darling Jess & Luca

This blog is a joy to read, it warms my heart and fills me with gladness.

Darling Luca, you are growing up so fast, you are not a baby any more ... From experience I know how cherished these moments are.

I love both you and your mommy, very much and hold both of you in my heart, close to me.

Thank you for sharing this with me.

Luce
